I used to enjoy cereal for breakfast....and even supper sometimes. The gluten free cereals on the market are great, but I really miss my bran cereals. Not anymore....my new obsession is Apple Flax Cereal!
I confess.....I have eaten it two nights in a row for supper. Yes, I even cooked a big meal for my boys the last two nights and I still ate cereal for supper! :)
It is so easy and yummy!
Apple Flax Cereal
3/4 cup of flaxseed meal
1/4 cup of apple sauce
1 apple chopped
dash or two of cinnamon (to taste)
1/2 cup almond milk (more or less to your taste)
Place flax meal in a bowl. Add apple sauce and cinnamon and stir. Pour milk over cereal and top with chopped apples. Enjoy!
