2 cups Gluten Free Flour
1/4 tsp xanthan gum (if not included in flour mix)
1/4 cup butter
1/2 tsp salt
1 tbsp baking soda
1 tbsp sugar
1 cup milk
- Lightly spoon flour into dry measuring cups; level with a knife. Combine flour, xanthan gum, baking powder, sugar, and salt in a bowl. Cut butter into the flour. Add milk and stir until well mixed.
- Spoon the batter into 12 muffin cups coated with cooking spray. Bake at 350 for 12 minutes or until golden. Remove biscuits from pan immediately, and place on a wire rack.
Hi I have not really baked GF yet aside from mixes. When you state 1/4 Xanthan Gum is that cup, or tsp, tbsp? Thanks these look good.
ReplyDeleteHi Beth!
DeleteIt is tsp. Sorry for the error. I was so excited that how well these turned out I was rushing to write down the recipe before I forgot. Lol :)
